When in Rome That is a saying I hear a lot. This mode of thought however requires one to then put aside perceptions and feelings that could help us and allow us to contribute when we are traveling or even cooperating on a business or Kubb level Recently I was in Oregon and Washington traveling for business. During this brief excursion I noticed how there are differences and similarities from the two coasts as I am sure there are also some from the Deep South to the Midwest . What I did notice however is that many Personalities and ways of behaving or speaking--colloquialisms can be related to driving Yes as I was driving I realized I was driving as a New Yorker getting where I have to go. I noticed a car certainly a local, no question an older model car not a young person in the seat just tooting along. As I can up on them they moved over and allowed me to pass. This was something a good New York driver would do to keep the flow of traffic going. Well i thought on this more and More on my 2 Plus hour drive further North. That person was not so focused on the destination, the rules of the road or getting everyone somewhee ..... They were just being nice! It reminded me of arriving from my red eye the night previously where everyone was tired we are all Making Connections and I get on them plane and it is like a party.....it seems everyone knows each other they are joking around and having a ball .... Pretty cool Does this mean New Yorkers are not nice? No! That is a perception But noticing these similarities can certainly help you when you are traveling and when you are in competition Notice the other teams. Talk to them Get to know them. Once you do this you Can have a better understanding of their perspective ......then you can crush them In a friendly way of course Do not so as the Romans do Respect what they do then do what you do It's getting warmer very soon Let's get out there and share our perspective

You may be mentally deranged but sometimes the wisest have that affliction. I can not be defeated physically but there is a mental aspect to my game that is vulnerable. Ask the Godfather. It is not trash talking I respond to that. Could it be humor? I've said too much
